Why has Arizant Healthcare sent this letter to our facility? - The letter is a notification to the Chief Financial Officer that your facility purchases Arizant Healthcare products through a Partnership Program Agreement and may have cost reporting obligations to government health care programs.
What am I supposed to do after reading this letter? - Consult with your cost reporting advisors and determine your facility’s cost reporting obligations.
Can Arizant Healthcare assist us in completing our cost reports? - Arizant cannot provide any specific advice regarding your cost reporting. Also, Arizant cannot provide your facility with cost allocations between our warming units and disposable products. However, we can provide information to your facility that may be useful for completing your cost reports.
What kind of information can Arizant Healthcare provide to our facility? - Arizant Healthcare can provide the list price of the warming units at the time the equipment was placed in your facility. In addition, Arizant can provide the dollar amounts of disposables purchased by your facility for a particular period of time. Also when available, other contract purchase prices for the warming units can be provided. Please consult with your cost reporting advisers to determine if this information is needed in preparing your cost reports.
