 When patients arrive in the OR wearing the Bair Paws® warming gown, the surgical team has immediate access to a convenient, ready-to-use warming option. Clinical warming capabilities may be accessed through the gown’s lower clinical hose port—ideal for head, neck or upper body procedures—or the shoulder hose port for procedures involving the lower extremities. These flexible positioning options make clinician access simple by eliminating the need to reposition the gown. To clinically warm during surgery, just connect one of the gown’s clinical hose ports to a Bair Hugger® 500 or 700 series warming unit. Bair Hugger warming units deliver clinically effective patient warming at safe air temperatures – and they are already available in most ORs. |
