PACU

Shivering or feeling cold after surgery are common patient complaints. Warming is readily available by simply attaching the Bair Paws® warming unit to the gown’s lower hose port. When patients awake from anesthesia you can provide patients with the unit’s hand-held controller, and they can adjust the temperature of the air flowing through the gown to a comfortable level. Patients are now in control of their own comfort.

Patient-friendly post-operative clinical warming is available by connecting the Bair Hugger® warming unit to the gown’s lower clinical hose port. The gown’s shoulder hose port may also be utilized for clinical warming in PACU.
